Al Ali Engineering Co. Contracting & Trading W.L.L. is currently seeking seasoned professionals to join their team for a prestigious Qatar Energy project. We are hiring for two critical roles: Project Manager and Construction Manager. Both positions require substantial experience in managing large-scale construction projects valued over QR 100 million, with a strong focus on high-quality, mixed-use developments in the Arabian Gulf region.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities and Requirements

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of the project from planning through commissioning while ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and have a minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience, including at least 10 years as a Project Manager managing major capital projects for contracting companies. Proven experience in procurement, commissioning, operations, site safety management, quality assurance, and overall project coordination is essential. Fluency in English and strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required. A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.

Construction Manager Key Responsibilities and Requirements

The Construction Manager role demands extensive hands-on experience directing onsite construction activities. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and possess no less than 20 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 15 years in a senior onsite construction management role overseeing large-scale, mixed-use projects. A minimum of 10 years working in the Arabian Gulf region is also expected. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in site safety management, quality control, and coordination across all construction phases. Experience with projects awarded GSAS certification is a required qualification. Strong command of English along with excellent leadership and communication skills is essential.
