Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our facility management team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing civil engineering tasks related to high-rise residential or commercial buildings. This role involves ensuring the safety, quality, and maintenance of civil assets within various facilities while providing excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and addressing all civil-related maintenance requests through the Facility Management System. You will respond swiftly to emergency situations on-site to minimize operational disruptions and ensure safety standards are met. Conducting routine inspections across facilities will be essential to evaluate the condition of civil infrastructure.

Additional duties include performing quality checks on repairs and modifications, managing on-site manpower effectively, handling professional communication with clients, and raising purchase requisitions for necessary materials. You will also prepare and submit detailed weekly progress reports for management review and undertake other engineering and operational tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in facility management or civil engineering, preferably within the context of high-rise residential or commercial buildings in Qatar.
• Strong ability to handle emergency situations with quick and effective problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and professional correspondence.
• Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently while coordinating with on-site teams.
