Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Draftsman for a 3 to 6-month contract based in Lusail, Qatar. This role is open to candidates of any nationality with a solid background in electrical drafting and design. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and revising detailed electrical drawings to support ongoing construction and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Draftsman will be tasked with creating accurate and up-to-date electrical drawings including lighting, power layouts, cable tray plans, single-line diagrams (SLD), as well as shop and as-built drawings. Coordination with engineers and site teams is crucial to ensure drawings meet project specifications and client requirements. The role involves revising documents following site feedback to maintain compliance and quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI certification in Electrical Drafting or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to prepare precise and detailed drawings; knowledge of Revit MEP is considered an advantage
• Experience within MEP, construction, or the oil and gas sectors is preferred
• Strong communication abilities and excellent coordination skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
