We are seeking a skilled Pan-Asian Commis Cook to join a busy kitchen focused on authentic and flavorful Asian cuisine. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of Pan-Asian hot dishes including stir-fries, dumplings, noodle soups, fried rice, and various sauces. You will manage the hot station confidently, supporting the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef by following recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards. Maintaining an organized and well-prepared mise en place is critical, along with keeping the hot kitchen stations clean and ready for service at all times.

Additionally, you will ensure adherence to strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness protocols. Proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to preserve freshness and minimize waste are also key elements of the role. Teamwork is essential, especially during busy service hours, where you may be called to assist other kitchen sections.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a Pan-Asian hot kitchen or similar culinary environment.
• Strong understanding of Asian cooking methods, flavors, and ingredients.
• Proficiency in preparing staple Asian dishes such as noodles, stir-fries, and fried rice.
• Good knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Positive attitude, team spirit, and eagerness to grow culinary skills.

Job Details

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from 1500 to 3000 QAR, with 12-hour shifts that include food allowance during duty. Accommodation arrangements can be discussed or provided to the right candidate.
