21 Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Assistant Chief Steward to lead and manage the stewarding team while ensuring excellent hygiene and sanitation standards across all operations. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with multiple departments and contribute significantly to maintaining a clean and safe environment in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Chief Steward will take on a leadership role by coordinating daily stewarding activities. The main duties include:

• Supervising and guiding the stewarding team to achieve operational excellence
• Enforcing HACCP guidelines along with hygiene and cleanliness protocols
• Managing dishwashing, kitchen sanitation, and overall cleanliness efforts
• Supporting training initiatives, scheduling, and performance evaluations for the team
• Collaborating effectively with Kitchen, Food & Beverage, and Engineering departments to ensure smooth operations

Required Skills and Experience

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in a similar stewarding supervisory role and demonstrate strong knowledge of hospitality sanitation standards. Success in this position depends on the ability to lead with confidence and maintain composure under pressure in a dynamic environment. Key qualifications include:

• Previous experience as Assistant Chief Steward or Stewarding Supervisor
• Deep understanding of HACCP and sanitation regulations
• Strong leadership capabilities and team support skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Hospitality or hotel background is an advantage
