We are seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to manage comprehensive financial operations within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) food distribution sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial expertise and demonstrate leadership in budgeting, reporting, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Manager will oversee all aspects of financial management including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Key duties include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, monitoring cash flow and liquidity, and managing accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions. The role involves analyzing financial performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and leading the development of annual budgets and financial plans. Ensuring compliance with tax laws, audits, and statutory requirements is essential, along with managing inventory costing and stock valuation specifically for FMCG distribution. The Finance Manager will also coordinate closely with procurement, sales, and operations teams to support organizational objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should possess 7 to 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with a mandatory background in FMCG food distribution. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, and professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA are highly preferred. Proficiency with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is important for success in this role. Strong analytical abilities, leadership skills, and excellent communication are necessary to lead the finance team effectively and provide valuable financial insights to senior management.
