Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Architect to join our client’s team in Doha, Qatar. This role is an external consultancy position requiring on-site presence. The architect will play a pivotal role in designing and reviewing advanced security solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud infrastructures, ensuring robust protection aligned with client policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead security architecture initiatives including comprehensive security reviews, risk assessments, and framework implementation. Responsibilities include:

• Developing and enforcing security architecture with a focus on Zero Trust, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), as well as API and data security strategies.
• Conducting AI and Machine Learning risk assessments to enhance cyber resilience across systems.
• Identifying security risks and defining control measures, ensuring standards and reference designs meet industry best practices.
• Preparing thorough documentation, facilitating knowledge transfer sessions, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders within architecture teams, project management, audit, and compliance functions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is essential; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in cybersecurity and enterprise architecture, ideally within banking or regulated sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in multi-cloud environments, Zero Trust models, IAM and PAM solutions, API security, and data protection techniques.
• Professional security certifications such as CISSP or CISM are mandatory.
• Additional certifications like SABSA, TOGAF, or CCSP are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage and engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.

Work Environment

This role requires the consultant to work on-site at the client’s location in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must be prepared for full-time presence within the workplace to facilitate seamless collaboration with the internal teams and project stakeholders.
