Job Overview

We are urgently seeking skilled Windows Administrators to join a dynamic team based in Doha, Qatar. This role offers a competitive salary of 15,000 QAR and is ideal for professionals with 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience managing Windows Server environments.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Windows Server environments, including versions 2016, 2019, and 2022. You will handle troubleshooting tasks related to Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPO). Regular patch management using tools such as WSUS, SCCM, MECM, or similar platforms will be part of your duties to ensure system security and stability.

Automating routine administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting is expected to improve operational efficiency. Additionally, the role involves maintaining file services, managing NTFS and share permissions, and enforcing server security protocols. Basic experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V and familiarity with server lifecycle management will be advantageous.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of robust experience in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022).
• Proficient in troubleshooting Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO issues.
• Experience with patching tools such as WSUS, SCCM, or MECM for effective patch governance.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation of system tasks.
• Understanding of NTFS/share permissions and server security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira Service Management.
• Basic knowledge of virtualization platforms including VMware and Hyper-V.

Work Environment and Behavioral Expectations

The role demands a professional able to take ownership of incidents, particularly Priority 1 and Priority 2 cases, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication. Working effectively under pressure in live production environments is essential, alongside adhering to ITIL best practices and maintaining thorough documentation.
