Arkansas State University – Qatar is seeking a Junior Admissions Officer to join its dynamic Admissions & Enrolment Team. Key Responsibilities
The Junior Admissions Officer will play a vital role in managing communications and guiding applicants through each stage of the admissions journey. Key duties include:
- Handling enquiries from students and parents promptly and professionally
- Assisting applicants with programme selection, application procedures, payment processes, and registration
- Conducting preliminary admissions interviews to assess candidates
- Following up on incomplete applications and outstanding offers
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records along with recruitment reports
- Supporting outreach initiatives, including school presentations and new student onboarding
- Providing administrative assistance to the Admissions & Enrolment Department as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
Successful candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field. Graduates of A-State Qatar are highly encouraged to apply. The ideal applicant will have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience and demonstrate strong communication skills in both English and Arabic. Excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and effective time-management skills are essential for this position.
