We are currently seeking a skilled and professional Administrative Receptionist to join our team in Qatar. This role is ideal for someone with a background in reception and administrative support, particularly within the project or construction sectors. The successful candidate will be the welcoming face of the company, responsible for managing front-office activities and providing excellent customer service to visitors, clients, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
The Administrative Receptionist will manage all reception duties with professionalism and efficiency. Daily tasks include greeting and assisting visitors, handling incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries. The role also involves preparing and processing Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), maintaining records, files, and preparing reports and correspondence. Coordination with suppliers, clients, and internal departments is essential, alongside supporting quotations, purchase documentation, data entry, and overall office and project-related administration. Scheduling appointments and general office coordination also fall under this role’s scope.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must have prior experience in reception and administrative functions, including expertise in LPO preparation and purchase documentation. Experience working in the project or construction industry will be a significant advantage. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. The ideal candidate will present themselves professionally and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and effective follow-up capabilities. The ability to communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and colleagues is critical.
Additional Requirements
The candidate must be locally available in Qatar and prepared to start immediately. Experience in Qatar or the GCC region is preferred. A well-organized and customer-focused mindset with the ability to maintain a professional office environment is expected.
