Al Dar Exchange is looking for a skilled and detail-focused Treasury Accountant to join their operations and settlements team. This role involves managing treasury activities, conducting bank transfers, and overseeing settlements across various accounts and currencies. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in treasury or payment operations and be comfortable working within tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
As a Treasury Accountant at Al Dar Exchange, your core duties will include:
- Monitoring daily bank balances, treasury positions, and settlement funding to ensure smooth operations.
- Executing approved bank transfers accurately and within designated cut-off times.
- Investigating any outstanding transactions and coordinating reconciliation efforts with accounting teams.
- Preparing daily treasury reports and assisting in liquidity forecasting through tools like Excel and Power BI.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation and ensuring compliance with authorization controls and internal policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Possession of a valid Qatar ID (QID).
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in treasury management, banking operations, settlements, or payment processing roles.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and practical experience with Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail complemented by strong English communication skills.
- Ability to perform efficiently under strict daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with previous work experience at exchange houses, remittance companies, or banks will have an added advantage given the nature of the role.
