Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent Junior Accounts Payable specialist to join our finance team in Qatar. This role requires an individual with experience in handling accounting tasks related to accounts payable, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance department with essential reconciliations and payment processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Accounts Payable professional will be responsible for managing bank and account reconciliations, verifying payment details, and processing approvals. Maintaining accurate records of supplier and creditor accounts is crucial to this role, along with ensuring timely payment to vendors. The position also involves working closely with other finance team members to support ERP system operations and assist in monthly financial reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within Qatar.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
• Good communication skills for effective coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
• Valid Qatar ID (QID) is preferred.
