Mezzan Holding Co. in Qatar is seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to join their finance team. This role is perfect for candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 1 to 2 years of hands-on accounting experience. The ideal candidate should be familiar with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and general accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for handling payroll processing with particular attention to Qatar’s Wage Protection System (WPS). You will manage accounts payable and receivable duties, support general accounting activities, and assist with financial reporting. Utilizing SAP and SuccessFactors systems is preferred to streamline accounting functions and enhance reporting accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1 to 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in payroll processing, especially within the Qatar payroll framework (WPS)
• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Familiarity with SAP and SuccessFactors is an advantage
• Strong analytical ability coupled with excellent communication skills
