Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This key role involves leading the internal audit function, offering independent assurance to senior leadership and the Board Audit Committee. The position demands overseeing the audit process, risk management, governance, compliance, and control activities across the organization and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the internal audit team, conducting thorough audits to assess risk and control effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies. They will also lead cyber security and IT audit initiatives, evaluate internal control frameworks, and report findings clearly to senior management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Auditing
• Over 15 years of internal audit experience, preferably within the oil and gas sector
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA
• Strong expertise in risk management, governance, internal controls, and compliance
• Experience in IT and cyber security audits
• Proficient with computerized auditing techniques and ERP systems like Oracle EBS or SAP
• Excellent analytical thinking, leadership abilities, investigative skills, and reporting proficiency
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an added advantage
