Job Overview

A respected manufacturing company in Qatar is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their finance team immediately. This position is open exclusively to local candidates with valid Qatari identification and transferable visas. The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 5 years of hands-on accounting experience and a strong capability in various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations efficiently
• Performing accurate bank reconciliations on a regular basis
• Handling rebates and credit notes processing
• Conducting internal audits and assisting with financial review processes
• Maintaining the general ledger by recording journal entries accurately
• Utilizing MS Excel and ERP or accounting software tools to support financial operations

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of proven accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of core accounting principles including AP, AR, reconciliations, and auditing
• Proficiency with MS Excel and accounting software systems
• Excellent analytical abilities and clear communication skills
• Valid Qatari ID with a transferable visa
• Availability to join the team immediately
