Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and supporting overall financial reporting efforts. This role requires proficiency in accounting procedures and strong organizational skills to maintain smooth financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily data entry for all accounting transactions.
• Reconcile accounts and bank statements to verify accuracy.
• Prepare journal entries in line with company policies.
• Update the cash flow report every day to reflect current status.
• Manage fixed assets and calculate monthly depreciation.
• Prepare manual checks as needed and ensure timely processing.
• Account for all receipts, including cash and checks, matching them with daily sales records.
• Calculate discounts and request appropriate customer identification for specific transactions.
• Review and verify sales invoices daily for accuracy.
• Compile monthly expense reports and income statements to support financial analysis.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong organizational abilities and excellent attention to detail.
• Proven ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
