Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in Qatar. This role involves managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting overall financial operations for the organization. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in accounting functions and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily data entry for all accounting-related transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly to ensure consistency
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledger entries
• Update and monitor daily cash flow reports to track financial health
• Manage fixed assets and calculate monthly depreciation accurately
• Issue manual checks as required for business operations
• Account for all receipts, cash, and checks, balancing them against daily sales records
• Calculate applicable discounts or references and verify customer identification for discount eligibility
• Review daily sales invoices to ensure correctness and completeness
• Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports including expenses and income statements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of practical accounting experience
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage deadlines effectively
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation
