Teresol Pvt Ltd is seeking a talented Software Design Engineer to join their head office team in Islamabad. This role focuses on developing software solutions with a strong emphasis on C/C++ programming and Linux operating system fundamentals. Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of Linux boot processes, kernel compilation, and hardware interfacing.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and debugging software that integrates closely with Linux systems. This includes working with Linux drivers, handling hardware peripherals, and managing input/output operations. A deep understanding of Linux configurations and boot procedures will be essential, along with the ability to compile and port software effectively.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in C and C++ programming with clean coding practices
• Strong foundational knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Experience with Linux boot procedure and configuration techniques
• Competence in Linux kernel compilation and software porting
• Familiarity with Linux device drivers and hardware peripheral interfaces
• Ability to use Linux-based IDEs, editors, and compilers effectively
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical thinking abilities

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science from a reputable institution. Candidates with 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience will be considered. Salary will correspond to the individual’s expertise and skill set.
