Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with 1 to 2.5 years of professional experience to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building web applications using object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and frameworks such as CodeIgniter and Laravel. This role focuses heavily on backend development, particularly for e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities

The PHP Developer will be responsible for designing and developing custom backend solutions to meet client e-commerce needs. Core responsibilities include:

• Developing robust web applications with advanced OOP techniques.
• Writing clean, maintainable code primarily using PHP frameworks like CodeIgniter and Laravel.
• Creating and integrating bots as part of backend functionality.
• Implementing and customizing payment gateway integrations across CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, and Drupal, as well as using core PHP.
• Working closely with front-end technologies including , CSS, JavaScript, and various JS libraries to ensure smooth integration.
• Utilizing CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap, Semantic UI, Foundation, and Materialize for responsive designs.
• Managing and optimizing database interactions within MySQL.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure applications meet performance and security standards.

Required Skills

• Proficient in PHP with hands-on experience using Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks.
• Strong grasp of OOP in PHP for developing scalable web applications.
• Experience with , CSS, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, and familiarity with additional JS libraries.
• Practical knowledge of integrating payment gateways on various content management systems and custom solutions.
• Solid understanding of MySQL databases and efficient query development.
• Familiarity with popular CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Materialize, Semantic UI, and Foundation.
• Previous work involving bot development is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing WordPress themes and plugins.
• Background in C# application development and working with MSSQL databases.
