Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated IT Hardware Specialist to manage and maintain the physical components of our technology infrastructure. This role involves the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of computer hardware and related devices to ensure smooth operational performance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, servers, and peripherals.
• Performing routine maintenance and upgrades to improve system efficiency and hardware longevity.
• Diagnosing hardware issues and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.
• Collaborating with the IT team to support software installations that require specific hardware setups.
• Maintaining accurate records of hardware inventories and service histories.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, architecture, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience in assembling and disassembling computer systems.
• Ability to identify and resolve hardware malfunctions promptly and effectively.
• Familiarity with networking hardware such as routers, switches, and cabling is a plus.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with technical teams and end-users.

Preferred Qualifications

A professional certification in hardware technology or relevant work experience in IT hardware support will be advantageous. Prior experience in a similar role within a fast-paced IT environment is highly regarded.
