Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to drive analytics transformation within the Customer Value Management (CVM) function for a leading telecom client based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role requires extensive experience in applying machine learning and statistical techniques to address large-scale, complex business challenges in the telecom sector.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models tailored to telecom data, focusing on customer insights and value maximization. Collaboration with multi-regional teams will be essential, including occasional travel to Pakistan and other operational locations for workshops, business meetings, and project coordination.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in data science or related fields, with at least 2-3 years specifically in the telecom CVM domain.
• Strong expertise in machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, ensemble methods (bagging, boosting, random forests), support vector machines, clustering, and dimensionality reduction.
• Proficient coding and scripting abilities in Python for modeling and prototyping solutions.
• Postgraduate degree from a reputable institution in Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative disciplines; MBA candidates with strong analytics backgrounds will also be considered.
• Basic conversational ability in Arabic is mandatory to facilitate effective communication within the region.
• Willingness to relocate to the UAE and availability to join within 2 to 4 weeks.
