Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Stores In Charge to join a reputable company in the oil and gas and fabrication sector based in Nizwa, Oman. This full-time role involves overseeing warehouse operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Stores In Charge will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities within the storage facility. This includes supervising stock control processes, coordinating with procurement and project teams, and ensuring all materials are properly documented and traceable. The role also requires implementing quality assurance procedures and maintaining documentation such as Material Test Certificates (MTCs) and QA/QC records in alignment with API, ISO, and QMS standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 5 years of proven experience in stores or warehouse management
- Background in the oil and gas or fabrication industries is highly preferred
- Strong expertise in inventory control and proficient use of ERP systems
- Familiarity with material traceability protocols and quality documentation
- Understanding of API, ISO, and Quality Management System requirements
- Excellent organizational and coordination capabilities to manage multiple workflows effectively
