Job Overview

We are looking for skilled QA/QC Engineers with expertise in both Civil and MEP works to join our team in Oman. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards for ongoing real estate and construction projects by implementing quality assurance and control protocols. This position requires hands-on inspection, thorough compliance checks, and adherence to project specifications to guarantee the highest quality output.

Key Responsibilities

The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing inspection and testing plans, preparing documentation such as Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material submittals. Regular site inspections and quality audits must be conducted to ensure all work aligns with approved codes, standards, and project requirements. Managing and documenting Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams are essential duties of this role.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong familiarity with QA/QC procedures and quality management systems relevant to construction.
• Proven ability to prepare technical documentation including ITPs, method statements, and material submittals.
• Experience performing hands-on site inspections and quality checks for Civil and MEP disciplines.
• Knowledge of international standards such as ISO, ASTM, and British Standards.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with various project stakeholders.
• Solid documentation, reporting skills, and efficient management of NCRs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in construction projects, with at least 5 years dedicated to QA/QC roles.
• Preferred experience in real estate projects.
• Prior work experience in Oman or GCC region is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of Oman and GCC local authority regulations and compliance.
• Hands-on experience conducting QA/QC audits and managing compliance processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic work environment.
