We are looking to urgently fill the positions of Baker and Barista for a reputable catering and food service operation located in Muscat, Oman. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals passionate about baking and coffee crafting to join a fast-paced and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Baker:

• Prepare a wide range of breads, pastries, and other baked goods following established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure consistent product quality through proper baking techniques and ingredient handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area to meet hygiene requirements.
• Work efficiently in a demanding environment to meet production deadlines.

Barista:

• Prepare coffee and espresso-based drinks to customer specifications with attention to quality and presentation.
• Engage customers with a friendly and professional attitude, providing excellent service.
• Demonstrate knowledge of various coffee preparation methods and maintain beverage quality.
• Collaborate effectively within the team to deliver smooth service during busy periods.

Required Skills and Experience

For Bakers:

• Proven experience in baking breads, pastries, and assorted bakery items.
• Strong understanding of baking ingredients, processes, and quality control.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-moving work environment.

For Baristas:

• Experience in preparing a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages.
• Good interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong teamwork abilities and quick learning aptitude for coffee preparation techniques.
