Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Production Floor Supervisor to lead and manage daily manufacturing operations. This role is integral in ensuring that production targets are achieved efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to safety protocols. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree along with strong experience in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.

Key Responsibilities

As Production Floor Supervisor, you will oversee all on-floor production activities and coordinate with various teams to keep processes running smoothly. Your main duties include:

• Supervising and organizing daily manufacturing tasks to meet production schedules and output goals.
• Monitoring team performance and providing ongoing training, support, and leadership to enhance productivity.
• Ensuring raw materials are used efficiently, minimizing waste while maintaining strict quality control standards.
• Implementing and enforcing workplace safety, health, and housekeeping regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborating closely with maintenance teams to reduce machine downtime and address any operational issues promptly.
• Identifying bottlenecks in production and applying corrective measures to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Preparing and submitting daily production reports, keeping management informed of operational progress and challenges.
• Coordinating efforts with Quality Assurance, Warehouse, and Planning departments to guarantee seamless production cycles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing or production setting.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience is highly preferred.
• Solid understanding of production processes, quality assurance, and occupational safety standards.
• Competency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
• Strong leadership abilities paired with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in production planning, scheduling, and continuous process improvement.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
