Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Production Manager with extensive experience in perfume, fragrance, cosmetics, or FMCG manufacturing sectors. The successful candidate will oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing all production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets. You will lead and coordinate teams including supervisors, operators, and support staff to maximize productivity while minimizing waste. Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and GMP regulations is critical. Close collaboration with Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Maintenance, Procurement, and Planning departments will be essential to maintain smooth production flow. Additionally, you will develop production schedules aligned with customer demands and supervise cost control efforts to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years in manufacturing, with at least 3 to 5 years in a production management role.
- Demonstrated expertise in perfume, fragrance, cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG industries.
- In-depth understanding of production planning, quality assurance systems, lean manufacturing principles, and best practices.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing high-volume production environments.
- Proficient in KPI management, performance analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the capability to implement corrective and preventive actions efficiently.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Additional Responsibilities
The role also involves monitoring health, safety, and environmental compliance, preparing detailed production reports, and maintaining close oversight of operational costs. Investigating production issues to identify root causes and driving improvements will be key to your success in this position.
