Job Overview

Mada Kuwait is seeking a skilled Senior Technician specializing in Telecom and ISP technologies to join their team. This role is dedicated to the installation, commissioning, and ongoing support of 5G home broadband and WiFi solutions at customer locations within Kuwait. The technician will play a key role in ensuring optimal home connectivity by evaluating the environment and recommending tailored setups to enhance service performance and customer satisfaction. This opportunity is exclusively open to residents of Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Technician will be responsible for installing indoor and outdoor 5G routers as well as WiFi devices such as access points, mesh systems, and repeaters. They will conduct thorough assessments of home WiFi coverage, diagnose connectivity issues, and propose effective solutions including improved router placement or additional equipment. Basic cable installations and necessary adjustments will also be performed to support the connectivity setup. Furthermore, the technician will explain installation scopes and coordinate any required additional materials or cabling that falls outside the standard package.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should have a diploma or equivalent in Telecommunications, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline. Experience with field installations, customer premises equipment setups, or broadband and WiFi support is highly valued. A foundational understanding of structured cabling, wireless coverage principles, and strong customer service abilities are advantageous. The role demands proficiency in troubleshooting, technical installation of networking devices, and the capacity to clearly explain technical matters to customers.

Additional Competencies

Successful applicants will demonstrate excellent communication and consultation skills, enabling them to effectively advise customers on connectivity improvements and additional product recommendations. Attention to detail is important when documenting the need for extra materials and explaining any charges beyond the basic service package. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment are essential.
