We are seeking an experienced Head of Supermarket Operations to lead and oversee operations across several branches. This leadership position involves managing all aspects of store performance, staff, inventory, and supplier relationships to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for supervising supermarket operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and excellence in service delivery. Effective management of store operations covering inventory control, purchasing, and vendor coordination is required. The Head will also handle budgeting, cost control, and work towards improving overall profitability. Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for current and new stores will form a significant part of the responsibilities. Monitoring sales performance and driving improvement plans, managing store managers and teams across branches, and supporting new store openings are expected tasks. Compliance with local regulations and company policies is essential to maintain operational standards.

Required Skills and Experience

A minimum of 8 years’ experience in supermarket or retail operations is necessary, with over 10 years highly preferred for this senior role. Proven expertise in managing multiple store locations and leading teams is vital. Strong leadership and people management skills are required, alongside a thorough understanding of HR processes, operational workflows, and retail system management. Fluency in Arabic is mandatory due to the local business environment. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced setting and be ready for immediate joining.
