Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Kitchen Equipment Technician to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen appliances to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties include installation, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial kitchen machinery such as ovens, stoves, fryers, grills, steamers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, and other food preparation equipment. The technician will evaluate mechanical, electrical, gas, and refrigeration system faults and implement appropriate fixes.

Regular preventive maintenance inspections are essential to reduce downtime, and responding swiftly to equipment malfunctions will be necessary. Replacement of faulty parts and thorough testing to confirm safety and performance standards must be performed meticulously. Maintaining precise records of maintenance and parts usage is also required to support operational efficiency.

Additionally, the role involves ensuring all procedures comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations while offering technical advice to kitchen staff on the correct use and upkeep of equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Refrigeration, HVAC, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in repairing and maintaining commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, gas appliances, refrigeration units, and mechanical components.
• Experienced in carrying out both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Valid driving license is preferred to facilitate travel to various sites.
