Food Mates Group is seeking a skilled and creative Head Cake Decorator to lead our cake decoration team in Kuwait. This full-time, on-site position requires a passionate professional with a keen eye for detail and extensive experience in cake artistry. The ideal candidate will oversee the decoration process from concept to completion, ensuring every cake meets the highest quality standards and delights our customers.

Key Responsibilities

As the Head Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for guiding and managing the team of decorators to consistently produce visually stunning cakes. Your duties will include executing designs from our established decoration library, maintaining uniformity across a variety of cake styles, and ensuring that each finished product meets customer expectations. Additionally, you will train and mentor junior staff while coordinating with the kitchen to optimize decoration schedules for efficient workflow. A balance of creativity and efficiency is essential in this role, as you strive to uphold our brand’s reputation through exceptional craftsmanship.

Required Skills and Experience

Applicants must have at least 4 to 5 years of professional experience in cake decorating, with strong proficiency in buttercream, fondant, piping, sculpting, and custom design techniques. A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating a wide range of celebration and bespoke cakes is required to showcase your artistic versatility. Candidates should be adept at managing high production volumes without compromising on quality. Excellent leadership qualities, organizational abilities, and clear communication skills are critical to successfully managing the team and production flow. Attention to detail is vital, emphasizing the importance of each cake as a representation of our brand.

Location and Employment Details

This role is based in Kuwait and is offered as a full-time, on-site position. Applicants must currently reside in Kuwait and possess a transferable visa with immediate transfer availability.
