Job Overview

A prominent IT outsourcing and recruitment leader in the Middle East and Gulf region is seeking a skilled DevOps Specialist with expertise in AWS to join their dynamic team in Kuwait. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructures to meet high standards of security and availability.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a range of AWS services including EC2, RDS, ELB, EBD, S3, VPC, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, and KMS. Responsibilities include developing cloud solutions with a strong emphasis on security best practices while ensuring 24/7 uptime in a demanding AWS environment. Automation of workflows and configurations using scripting languages and configuration management tools is also a core part of the role.

Required Skills

• At least two years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services across multiple components.
• Proven background as a DevOps Engineer working in continuous uptime AWS environments.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation, particularly with Python.
• Experience with both Windows and Linux system administration.
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools such as Nagios to ensure infrastructure stability.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities to troubleshoot complex deployment and infrastructure challenges.
