Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. This role involves developing and maintaining integrated project schedules that span engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and handover phases. The ideal candidate will manage critical paths, resource allocation, and progress measurement to ensure timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include creating and updating detailed schedules, maintaining logic-linked baselines, and analyzing project timelines. You’ll produce look-ahead plans, forecast updates, and assess delays along with viable recovery strategies. Collaborating closely with Project Managers and engineering disciplines to consolidate inputs and deliver comprehensive progress and performance reports is an essential part of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline relevant to the role.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for scheduling and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong background in critical-path analysis, resource loading, and earned-value progress tracking.
• Experience with integrating engineering and procurement schedules.
• Ability to conduct thorough delay analysis and deliver clear, detailed reports in English.
• Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.

Experience

The successful candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in project planning, with a minimum of 3 years focused on leading integrated EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) schedules. Experience should include baseline establishment, consistent progress updates, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
