Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Protection Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering with hands-on experience in maintaining and testing protective equipment within EHV, HV, and LV substations.
Key Responsibilities
The Protection Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and testing of various types of protection relays, including distance protection relays, used in substations. The role also involves ensuring the proper operation of battery chargers and associated electronic circuits. Practical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance are essential parts of this position.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) with at least 4 years of experience in protection engineering.
- Comprehensive understanding of protective relay systems and substation equipment.
- Hands-on experience with testing procedures on protection devices in substations.
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot battery chargers and electronic circuitry.
