We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety. This position focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment longevity.

Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of machines, equipment, and utilities. Diagnosing faults in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems is a daily task, alongside conducting routine inspections to preempt potential issues. The role demands quick responses to breakdowns and emergency repairs, maintaining careful records including maintenance logs and reports.

Collaborating with production and operations teams is essential to minimize downtime and ensure smooth workflow. Supervising technicians or contractors may be required at times. Additional duties include assisting with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and recommending process improvements to boost operational efficiency and reliability. The Maintenance Engineer must strictly enforce safety compliance and company standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering. A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience is essential. Possessing relevant maintenance certifications will be considered an advantage. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, along with knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, are critical for success in this role.
