Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. This role involves detailed load calculations, equipment selection, and close coordination with installation and testing teams.

Key Responsibilities

The HVAC Design Engineer will carry out the following duties:

• Design HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions, tailored to building or industrial facility requirements.
• Perform cooling load calculations and size ducts and pipes accurately.
• Develop detailed schematics and coordinated shop drawings.
• Prepare technical submissions, purchase specifications, and evaluate technical comparisons.
• Review supplier documentation through the supply chain process.
• Support installation, testing, balancing activities, and manage as-built documentation to ensure system integrity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC loads, ventilation, duct and pipe sizing, equipment selection, and control system interfaces.
• Proficiency in HVAC load calculation software such as HAP or equivalent.
• Experienced user of AutoCAD and preferably Revit MEP for design and drafting.
• Familiarity with relevant ASHRAE standards and requirements.
• Clear and concise technical communication skills in English.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in HVAC design and technical coordination for buildings or industrial projects is essential. Candidates should have extensive background in load calculations, selecting appropriate equipment, and providing construction support throughout project phases.
