Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation CAD Draftsman to join our engineering team in Kuwait. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in creating detailed electrical and instrumentation drawings for industrial and process projects. You will play a key part in developing layouts, wiring diagrams, and as-built drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive electrical and instrumentation layouts, wiring diagrams, loop drawings, and termination details. You will develop cable schedules, panel layouts, and installation drawings based on approved engineering inputs. Additionally, you will interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to coordinate equipment and cable interfaces effectively. Keeping all documentation updated by incorporating review feedback and site modifications to maintain controlled as-built drawings is also essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in electrical or instrumentation engineering or technical drafting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical symbols, instrument tags, wiring and loop diagrams, and revision control.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering instructions and technical drawings in English.
• Experience with EPLAN, Revit, or other relevant modeling software is an advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience producing electrical and instrumentation drawings for industrial or process projects.
• Hands-on experience in control-panel wiring, termination, and instrumentation drafting is required.
