Job Overview

We are currently looking for enthusiastic Cafe Assistants to join a unique tea-focused café located in Qibla, Kuwait City. This high-tea concept café emphasizes a variety of teas and beverages, without serving coffee. This role is perfect for those who have a passion for tea and delivering excellent customer service in a vibrant café environment.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will be responsible for preparing and serving a diverse selection of tea, matcha, and other specialty drinks. They will also handle desserts and sandwiches, manage customer orders through a POS system, and ensure takeaway orders are packed, labeled, and dispatched efficiently. Opening and closing duties according to the daily checklist are part of the role, alongside maintaining cleanliness and equipment upkeep to uphold the café’s high standards. Providing friendly and attentive service, restocking necessary materials, and addressing customer feedback in a professional manner are essential daily tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Genuine interest and passion for tea and cafe service
• Effective communication and strong customer service skills
• Experience in café or food and beverage service is an advantage
• Preferred candidates are from the Philippines (Pinoy preferred), but open to all genders and religions
• Comfort with working in a tea-centric café environment (no coffee served)

Employment Details

This position is open for local hires holding a Kuwait Ahli Visa. The salary ranges from 200 to 275 KD, all inclusive. Working hours are 8 hours a day with a 1-hour break, six days a week with Sundays off. The position is slated to start in September.
