Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to management and assist with secretarial duties. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth business operations by handling correspondence, coordinating meetings, and managing office logistics effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and type all types of business correspondence, including letters, memos, schedules, and agendas.
- Manage incoming and outgoing division correspondence independently.
- Direct incoming telephone calls to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Organize and maintain up-to-date filing systems and relevant data records.
- Coordinate and arrange business events such as training sessions and team meetings.
- Handle travel and hotel bookings for business trips, including visa processing for visitors and employees.
- Prepare and manage employee status changes, recruitment requests, new appointments, terminations, and resignations.
- Liaise with the personnel office on residence and related administrative matters.
- Coordinate activities across multiple locations in Kuwait, including warehouses, offices, suppliers, and business partners.
- Manage the division’s stationery inventory and time sheet tracking, resolving related issues as they arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Fluent communication skills in English are essential.
- Strong knowledge of Kuwait’s business environment and geography.
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in an administrative or similar support role.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as internet navigation.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Capable of managing demanding internal and external customers with professionalism.
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
