Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant specializing in cost control to join our team on a full-time basis in Kuwait. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid background in accounting and finance, particularly those familiar with managing cost control processes and financial reporting. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate cost accounting records and ensuring compliance with internal financial policies.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will oversee cost control activities, prepare detailed financial reports, and collaborate with different departments to monitor expenses and budgets. Responsibilities include analyzing cost data, ensuring proper allocation of costs, and supporting monthly and annual financial closing processes. The role also involves working closely with the finance team to improve cost efficiency and maintain accurate records in the accounting system.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role with a focus on cost control
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and cost control methodologies
• Experience in financial reporting and budget monitoring
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Prior experience with Odoo ERP system is a plus
• Currently residing in Kuwait
