Job Overview

A well-established restaurant company in Farwaniya, Kuwait is seeking a skilled Cost Accountant with a solid background in Odoo, ERP systems, and inventory management. This role focuses on accurately tracking food costs, optimizing inventory, and supporting the financial efficiency of restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate and analyze food and menu costs to maintain profitability
• Evaluate profit margins and monitor wastage ratios for cost control
• Oversee inventory movements, including stocktaking and purchasing activities
• Integrate inventory reports with sales data for comprehensive financial insights
• Generate periodic cost and inventory reports to support management decisions
• Monitor raw material costs closely and identify opportunities to optimize expenses
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while working efficiently under pressure

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within restaurant companies in Kuwait
• Strong proficiency in Odoo and ERP systems to manage accounting and inventory functions
• Hands-on experience in inventory and warehouse management
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deliver under tight deadlines
