Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead the accounting and finance functions for a dynamic organization in Kuwait. This role demands a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial management, reporting, and compliance to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

As the Accounts Manager, you will oversee comprehensive accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable as well as financial reporting. Your role will involve managing the profit and loss statements, monthly MIS reporting, budgeting, costing analysis, cash flow monitoring, and conducting business reviews to ensure financial health.

You will also be responsible for tracking sales performance, margins, inventory levels, and working capital management, alongside performing regular reconciliations. Handling fund management, capital expenditures (CAPEX), project accounting, and investment oversight will form part of your duties.

Ensuring full compliance with IFRS standards, VAT/GST regulations, taxation laws, and other statutory requirements is essential. Coordinating internal and external audits and reinforcing financial controls throughout the business will be key priorities. Additionally, guiding ERP system implementations and facilitating continuous improvements in finance processes will be expected. You will lead and mentor the Accounts and Finance team to achieve organizational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CMA, or CPA are highly preferred. The ideal applicant will have 6 to 10 years of relevant experience, ideally within the retail, FMCG, trading, or multi-unit business sectors.

Strong expertise in ERP systems along with proven financial management capabilities is required to successfully execute this role.
