We are looking for a meticulous and dependable Accountant to join a respected educational organization based in Kuwait. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with regional financial regulations, and supporting the smooth operation of financial tasks. This position requires strong analytical capabilities and proven experience managing daily accounting responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements and reports. Managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations will be essential. You will also monitor budgets and company expenses while assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures. Ensuring adherence to local financial laws and company policies, coordinating with auditors, and organizing financial documentation will be vital to the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field along with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is required, as well as a strong eye for detail and excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with Kuwait’s financial regulations and the ability to work independently under deadlines are important. Experience within the education sector, such as schools or nurseries, and knowledge of ERP systems will be advantageous.
