Tahatan Holding Company, a leading heavy equipment rental provider based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, is looking for an experienced Sales Manager / Team Leader. This role is based at the Head Office in Al Khobar and the Yard in Dammam. The ideal candidate will drive sales growth, secure new business opportunities, and lead a high-performing sales team within the construction and industrial equipment rental market.

Key Responsibilities

The Sales Manager will be responsible for accomplishing sales targets aligned with company goals and expanding the client base through strategic business development. Key duties include:

  • Meeting monthly and annual sales objectives by coordinating sales activities
  • Identifying and pursuing new projects and business opportunities in the construction sector
  • Managing quotations, inquiries, and preparing tender submissions with professionalism
  • Negotiating contracts, rates, and closing deals with clients to maximize profitability
  • Building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with existing and new clients
  • Leading and managing the sales team by assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring follow-up on client communications
  • Training and mentoring team members to improve performance and efficiency
  • Monitoring sales metrics and implementing corrective measures when necessary
  • Collaborating closely with operations, logistics, and accounts departments to ensure smooth equipment mobilization and contract compliance
  • Addressing client issues and feedback promptly to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Handling administrative duties such as preparing sales reports, monitoring payments, and supporting collection efforts
  • Updating senior management regularly on business performance and sales activities

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of sales experience, preferably in heavy equipment rental or construction industries
  • Currently residing in Saudi Arabia is mandatory
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a sales team
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of the construction and industrial equipment market preferred
  • Proficiency in computer applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), with advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and CRM software for sales tracking and customer management is preferred
  • Ability to professionally handle emails, proposals, and presentations
