Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Manager with extensive experience in managing process engineering projects aligned with Aramco’s strict standards. This role is vital to driving operational excellence, enhancing safety protocols, and delivering high-quality process improvements within the oil and gas sector in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead and implement robust process improvement initiatives that focus on operational efficiency and safety compliance. Responsibilities include overseeing the design, review, and approval of process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company requirements.

Additionally, managing process engineering projects from planning stages through commissioning is a crucial part of the role. This includes maintaining project timelines and budgets while performing detailed process hazard analyses (PHAs) and HAZOP studies to identify and mitigate risks, ultimately preserving plant safety and integrity.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in process engineering within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
• Proven success in executing process optimization projects, especially those adhering to Aramco’s approval and standards.
• Strong expertise in process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and conducting PHAs and HAZOP studies to ensure plant safety.
• Familiarity with project management principles, including cost and timeline adherence.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer) or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) are highly regarded and will enhance candidacy for this position.
