Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist with solid experience in Gulf region IT operations to join our team in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will oversee various IT systems including surveillance setups such as CCTV, access control, and tracking, along with POS systems and overall IT infrastructure maintenance across retail and commercial sectors. This role demands hands-on management of installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and security protocols ensuring uninterrupted business operations.

Key Responsibilities

The IT Specialist will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer networks and hardware. Managing and supporting surveillance systems, POS units, and peripheral devices plays a critical part of daily tasks. Routine system health checks, preventive maintenance, and securing data backups are essential to this role. The candidate will also diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems efficiently to minimize downtime.

Providing both on-site and remote technical user support is expected, along with coordinating repairs, replacements, and upgrades through vendor partnerships. Maintaining updated records of IT assets, ongoing technical issues, and resolutions will help streamline operations. Additionally, supporting IT projects such as system upgrades and new technology implementations will be part of the responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience managing CCTV, access control, and tracking systems.
• Proficiency with POS system installation and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of network management and IT infrastructure.
• Competence in data security measures and regular system backups.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software challenges.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and service providers.
• Good communication skills for user support and training.
• Previous experience working within the Gulf region is highly preferred.
