Job Overview

Join Schneider Electric’s Enterprise Network and Security Services team as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer. In this role, you will deliver lifecycle security services focused on protecting and enhancing cybersecurity for our customers’ environments, particularly in industrial and operational technology contexts. You will serve as a technical leader implementing advanced security solutions tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, you will lead the technical delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing maintenance of Schneider Electric security solutions. This includes configuring network and host security tools, overseeing network element modifications, and managing installation and connectivity testing. You will also drive security acceptance testing, develop and provide user training, and prepare comprehensive technical documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Operational Technology (OT) Industrial Control Systems.
• At least 5 to 8 years working with network-based firewalls such as Cisco, Fortinet, or Juniper platforms.
• Strong background in network troubleshooting using sniffers and monitoring tools.
• Proven expertise in deploying and managing intrusion detection systems and host-based security technologies including antivirus, data leakage prevention, host IPS, and whitelisting.
• Advanced Windows Active Directory system administration experience.
• Knowledge of system backup solutions and high-availability networking technologies.
• Experience in environments with both standard TCP/IP and specialized networking protocols.
• Capability in developing, evaluating, and enforcing security policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with LAN, WAN, and mixed network infrastructures.
• Strong analytical and interviewing skills for requirements gathering and customer consultation.
• Effective organizational and interpersonal skills for managing project priorities and stakeholder needs.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field is required, along with one or more of the following recognized certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• OT security certifications such as ISA99 or IC32-34 are advantageous

Work Environment

This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders including the MENA Cybersecurity Operations Manager, project teams, and global cybersecurity leadership, as well as direct interaction with external customers. You may be required to perform site visits to assess and maintain security solutions.
