Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Scheduler / Planner with official Saudi Aramco approval to join a prestigious LSTK project based in Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will lead scheduling efforts for all mechanical disciplines throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning departments. This role demands a meticulous planner skilled in Primavera P6 and familiar with Aramco standards to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive Master Project Schedule covering all phases from engineering to commissioning. This includes preparing detailed schedules tailored to key mechanical activities such as submersible pump installation, piping fabrication, and electrical and instrumentation commissioning. Daily tasks will involve monitoring progress, identifying risks and delays, performing schedule risk analyses, and recommending mitigation plans. The role also includes integrating subcontractor schedules, maintaining document control for all schedule updates, and supporting the Project Controls Manager in managing schedule changes and impacts.

Regular reporting will be part of the duties, providing weekly and monthly updates, dashboards, and key performance indicators to project management and client stakeholders. Participation in schedule review meetings and workshops is also expected to ensure alignment with project goals and Saudi Aramco compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Saudi Aramco approval as a Senior Scheduler / Planner.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in scheduling for EPC or LSTK projects, including a minimum of 3 years on Saudi Aramco projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for detailed project scheduling and control.
• Strong grasp of Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies.
• Experience in oil and gas, wellsite, infrastructure, or field development projects is advantageous.
• Good understanding of project lifecycle phases including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco scheduling standards and reporting formats.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams effectively.
• Capability to work independently while collaborating efficiently with team members.
• Experience with scheduling integration tools like Aconex or SAP is a plus.
