Job Overview

Aartco Engineering & Construction Company Ltd., based in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, is urgently seeking 200 qualified Electrical Engineers. These roles are for full-time positions supporting high-voltage (HV) and extra-high-voltage (EHV) projects across various sites. Candidates must possess SEC-approved C1/C2 certification and have experience in electrical construction, switchgear, and substation work.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures involving HV/EHV grids, substations, transmission lines, and underground cables up to 380 kV. This includes issuing Sanction for Test (STW) and processing Line Clearances (LOA) in accordance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) safety standards. Coordination with SEC operations to supervise isolation and energization clearances is essential. The role also requires ensuring safety compliance during construction, testing, and commissioning activities along with effective stakeholder communication to ensure project milestones are met smoothly.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Mandatory possession of a valid SEC-Approved C1 and/or C2 Certificate or Authorization Card.
• Accredited membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• A minimum of 4 to 10 years of proven experience in HV/EHV substation construction, commissioning, or transmission line projects.
• Transferable iqama or readiness for sponsorship/transfer through Aartco Engineering & Construction in line with SEC contractor regulations.
