Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Electrical Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in construction site execution and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in overseeing electrical installations, testing, and ensuring that all work complies with project specifications and safety regulations in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supervising all electrical installation work on-site, ensuring adherence to project drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role involves close coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate smooth progress. Additional duties include supporting pre-commissioning and commissioning phases, conducting thorough inspections, performing tests and troubleshooting of electrical systems, and preparing comprehensive reports and documentation related to inspections and testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction site supervision and/or commissioning works.
• Proficient knowledge of low and medium voltage systems, including switchgear, transformers, cabling, and testing methods.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with international standards such as IEC and IEEE.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent coordination skills to manage site technical challenges effectively.
• Prior experience working on projects within the GCC region is mandatory.

Work Environment

This position involves on-site responsibilities within a dynamic construction environment. Candidates should be prepared to collaborate directly with multiple stakeholders, adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, and maintain the highest quality standards throughout all project phases.
