Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Civil QC Supervisor with extensive experience in Aramco projects within the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience managing quality control and assurance activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and leading inspection teams both onsite and offshore.

Key Responsibilities

The Civil QC Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all quality-related operations in line with project and client requirements. This includes verifying adherence to codes such as API, ANSI, ASME, and SAMSS, and ensuring robust implementation of Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs). The role involves identifying and resolving non-conformance issues, managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and supporting preventive action strategies.

Conducting inspections and preparing reports for hydro testing, welding, and other project-specific scopes is a critical part of this role. The supervisor will also audit vendors, contractors, and subcontractors to guarantee compliance with client and regulatory standards like ISO and API.

Additional duties include preparing NDT plans and procedures, supervising field inspections, maintaining QA records, and coordinating the activities of QC inspectors and NDT coordinators. The supervisor must ensure inspection activities align with project quality control plans and undergo internal audits to uphold international standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7 to 10 years experience as a QA/QC Supervisor in the oil and gas or petrochemical industries, with a focus on Aramco projects.
• Proven experience in QA/QC functions for both offshore and onshore facilities.
• In-depth knowledge of welding techniques, common NDT methods, and hydro testing procedures for valves and piping systems.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2000 and industry codes including AWS, ASME, and ANSI.
• Qualified QMS Auditor certification preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously while fostering team excellence and delivering quality outcomes.
